Peggy Goodman, a 65-year-old woman from Chicago, IL, was tragically killed on March 23, 2018, during a home invasion in the Bronzeville neighborhood. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. when Benjamin Williams, a 31-year-old man, broke into her home on East 37th Street. Williams shot Peggy Goodman to death and also stabbed an 18-year-old woman multiple times, leaving her in critical condition.
