Lena Marie Nunez-Anaya, a 10-year-old girl from Chicago, IL, tragically lost her life on June 27, 2020. Lena was watching television with her brother at their grandmother's apartment in Logan Square when a stray bullet tore through the window and struck her in the head. The bullet was fired from outside the apartment, and Lena was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital shortly after the incident. Lena was described as a sweet little girl filled with joy, hopes, and dreams.
