Jaheim Wilson, a 16-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on April 7, 2018, in Chicago, Illinois. Jaheim was walking with a 13-year-old boy in an alley in the 5100 block of West Huron Street when an unknown assailant opened fire, hitting Jaheim in the hand, leg, and head. The 13-year-old boy was also shot in the leg but survived the attack. Jaheim was pronounced dead at the scene, less than half a mile from his home in the Austin neighborhood.
