Joshua Hunter, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life following a shooting incident in Dolton, Illinois. On May 4, 2018, Hunter was shot around 3:25 p.m. in the 15500 block of Drexel Avenue. He was immediately transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he succumbed to his injuries four days later, on May 8, 2018. Hunter's death was officially ruled a homicide due to complications from multiple gunshot wounds.
