Arshad Vahora, a 19-year-old male of South Asian descent, tragically lost his life on December 28, 2017, during an attempted armed robbery at the Clark gas station in Dolton, Illinois. Arshad was working at his father's business when the incident occurred. The robbery attempt resulted in Arshad being fatally shot, while his co-worker, Syed Baquar Hussain, a 55-year-old male, was critically injured but survived after being taken to Christ Hospital.
