On June 3, 2018, Bernard Norvell, a 35-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed in Decatur, Illinois. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 12:45 a.m., in the 400 block of East Stuart Avenue. Norvell was found with gunshot wounds and was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Following the incident, the Decatur Police Department launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the suspect respons
