Michael Harris, a 66-year-old African American man from Forest Park, IL, tragically lost his life on June 10, 2018. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Forest Park police responded to reports of a man down and shots fired at the intersection of Elgin Avenue and Adams Street. Upon arrival, officers found Michael Harris lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, Harris succumbed to his injuries shortly after being discovered.
