Xavier T. Hartman, a 19-year-old male from Galva, Illinois, tragically died on June 19, 2018. The incident occurred following a single-car accident in rural Henry County. After the crash, an altercation ensued between Xavier and 58-year-old Jim Love. During this confrontation, Love shot Xavier in the leg, hitting his femoral artery, which led to Xavier's death. Xavier was unarmed at the time of the shooting.
