Jermaine O. Jackson Jr., a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 27, 2018, in Peoria, Illinois. The incident occurred in the East Bluff neighborhood, where Jackson was shot in the head. The Peoria County coroner confirmed that he succumbed to his injuries the following afternoon at OSF Medical Center.
