Dequwan Pruitt, a 15-year-old African American male from Peoria, Illinois, tragically lost his life on November 8, 2021. Dequwan, affectionately known as "Nook" by his family, was a freshman at Richwoods High School. He was described as a respectful, kind-hearted, and energetic young man who loved sports, video games, and his family.
