In the summer of 2007, the discovery of a body in a Baltimore park brought a somber end to the life of 43-year-old Riley Pettus, a Black male. His remains were found in a state of decomposition on June 17, 2007, within the bounds of Gwynns Falls Park, near the 1300 block of North Woodington Road.
