Death by Force

Riley Pettus, aged 43, was found dead on June 18, 2007, in Baltimore, Maryland. His decomposed body was discovered in Gwynns Falls Park, near the 1300 block of North Woodington Road. Pettus had been shot multiple times, including in the head and chest. His death added to Baltimore's already high homicide count that year, which totaled 281 cases.
