Devinn Madley, a 20-year-old man from Maplewood, Minnesota, was shot and killed on the evening of August 28, 2021, while walking home from a local store near Larpenteur Avenue. After spending the evening with friends at a birthday dinner, Madley returned home but later stepped out to visit a nearby smoke shop. Tragically, this would be the last time he was seen alive.
