Von Lindsey, a 25-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on February 9, 2019, in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. At approximately 8 p.m., Lindsey was sitting in a vehicle in the 5900 block of West Chicago Avenue when an unknown assailant opened fire.
