Rodney Bell, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on March 25, 2019, in the South Austin neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred late at night, around 11:40 p.m., in the basement of a building located in the first block of North Lorel Avenue. According to reports, Bell was sitting in the basement when an unidentified male opened the door and fired multiple shots, striking him in the chest and neck.
