Death by Force

On the evening of May 4, 2019, 20-year-old Xavier D. Collins was fatally shot in North Chicago, Illinois. At approximately 8:40 p.m., the North Chicago Police Department responded to multiple reports of gunfire in the 800 block of 13th Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Collins lying near the roadway with a gunshot wound. He was promptly transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
