In the late summer of 2007, a burst of gunfire shattered the afternoon calm in a Baltimore neighborhood, leaving a man clinging to life. Dwight Nathaniel Baker, a 35-year-old Black male, was found shot on August 25, 2007, at approximately 12:05 p.m. in the 3400 block of Powhatan Avenue.
