Lonnie Wilson, a 34-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on September 25, 2019, in South Chicago. The incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. when Wilson and two other men were standing on a sidewalk in the 8300 block of South Kingston Avenue. A gray sedan approached, and an unknown assailant opened fire, striking Wilson multiple times.
