Antonio Cooper, an 18-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on November 2, 2013, in the West Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the evening when Antonio was walking in the 6500 block of South Marshfield Avenue. According to reports, he was approached by an unknown assailant who fired multiple shots, striking him in the chest. Antonio was pronounced dead at the scene, and his death was ruled a homicide.
