Kelli Ferrell, a 41-year-old woman from East St. Louis, Illinois, was fatally shot on April 20, 2020. The incident occurred near S. 29th Street and Converse Avenue in East St. Louis. Ferrell was taken to Touchette Regional Hospital in Centreville, where she was pronounced dead at approximately 10:35 p.m. The St. Clair County Coroner confirmed that she died from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
