Javin A. K. Sampson, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 14, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. According to reports, officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert around 3:40 p.m. in the 8000 block of South Paulina Street. Upon arrival, they found Javin Sampson with multiple gunshot wounds.
