Xavier S. Pointer, a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 27, 2020, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Xavier was walking in the 8500 block of South Carpenter Street just before 10 p.m. when he was approached by an armed male suspect who emerged from a gangway and announced a robbery.
