Rafael Simmons, a 31-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed on May 29, 2020, in the LeClaire Courts neighborhood on the Southwest Side of Chicago. The incident occurred around 12:45 p.m. in the 4500 block of South Lamon Avenue.
