Devin Slater, a 36-year-old African American man from Decatur, Illinois, tragically lost his life on April 5, 2020. Known affectionately as "Devo," Devin was born on July 3, 1983, in San Antonio, Texas, and was raised by his foster grandparents in Sandusky. His untimely death was the result of a violent incident where he was gunned down in a hail of bullets. The autopsy confirmed that Devin Slater died from multiple gunshot wounds, highlighting the brutal nature of the attack.
