Calvin Edwards, a 40-year-old man from Harvey, IL, was fatally shot on May 7, 2020. He was shot around 6:35 p.m. near 155th Street and Ashland Avenue. Edwards was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he succumbed to his injuries hours later. An autopsy revealed that he died from a gunshot wound to the abdomen, and his death was ruled a homicide.
