Rodney Dushaun Hampton, a 39-year-old African American male, was tragically found dead on July 12, 2020, in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, IL. Responding to a call about a person shot, officers discovered Rodney unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds in the 700 block of West 66th Place. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cook County medical examiner's office initially misidentified him as John Hammock, but later confirmed his identity as Rodney Dushaun Hampton.
