Nautica Thompson, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 1, 2020, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred during a backyard party in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. At approximately 12:37 a.m., gunfire erupted, resulting in multiple injuries and the death of Thompson.
