Rayalecio Turman, a 42-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on September 26, 2020, in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. The incident occurred around 4:10 a.m. while Turman was attending a gathering in the backyard of a residence located in the 7000 block of South Harper Avenue.
