Misael Alvarez, a 24-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically killed on October 20, 2020, in the Back of the Yards neighborhood of Chicago, IL. Alvarez was found in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head around 2:41 a.m. in the 4600 block of South Hermitage Avenue. He was immediately taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries the following day at 3:49 p.m. The Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed his death.
