Andre Bunton, a 37-year-old African American man from Dolton, Illinois, was tragically shot and killed on the night of July 18, 2013, in Chicago's South Loop neighborhood. According to authorities, shots were fired, and at least one bullet struck Bunton in the chest. Bunton was subsequently transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after midnight.
