Devon D. Thang Varner, an 18-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 13, 2011, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred near the intersection of 61st Street and King Drive. Varner was sitting in a parked car with friends when he was approached by two gunmen.
