Steven Hudson, a 39-year-old African American man from Chicago, Illinois, was tragically killed on April 20, 2016. The incident occurred on the southbound lanes of Interstate 57 near the Cal-Sag Channel in Calumet Park, a suburb of Chicago. According to reports, Hudson was driving a rental car when another vehicle pulled up alongside him and opened fire.
