Vincent Blackmon, a 34-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on October 22, 2020, in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 5:41 p.m. in the 10900 block of South Wentworth Avenue. Blackmon, who resided in the Gresham area, was shot in the abdomen and was pronounced dead at the scene by the authorities. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed his identity and the cause of death as a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
