On November 13, 2020, at approximately 3:22 p.m., Champaign Police Department officers responded to a report of a deceased individual inside a vehicle in the 300 block of East Hill Street, Champaign, Illinois. Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Shawntiel D. Harrison, an African-American male, with a fatal gunshot wound inside the vehicle. Authorities immediately suspected foul play in his death.
