Dominick S. Warren, a 24-year-old African American male from East St. Louis, Illinois, tragically lost his life on December 7, 2020. On that evening, at approximately 9:00 PM, officers from the Sauget Police Department responded to a report of a man down in the area of Curtiss Steinberg Drive and Sauget Industrial Parkway. Upon arrival, they discovered Dominick Warren suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Sauget Police Department, recognizing the severity and complexity of the case, requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis. The investigation was led by Lt. James Krummrich of the Fairview Heights Police Department, with support from Lt. Patrick Feldhake of the O’Fallon Police Department and Det. Sgt. Kyle Bade of the Shiloh Police Department. Despite their efforts, the identity of the suspect or suspects involved in Dominick Warren's murder remains unknown.
