LaShawn Bell, a 17-year-old African American male from East St. Louis, Illinois, was tragically found shot to death on December 25, 2022. The incident occurred in the early hours of Christmas Day, with police responding to a call at approximately 12:05 a.m. on Fall Street, between Williams Street and Richard Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered LaShawn Bell lying in the street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
