Michael Henderson III, a 15-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on June 24, 2019, in East St. Louis, Illinois. The incident occurred in the 800 block of S. 15th Street and Baker, near a convenience store. According to reports, Michael had entered the store to buy some food and was shot shortly after leaving the premises. He managed to run back to the store, where he collapsed. Paramedics arrived and transported him to a hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.
