Andrew Contreras, a 29-year-old Hispanic male from Aurora, Illinois, was tragically shot and killed on January 12, 2021, in Montgomery, Illinois. The incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on the Route 30 overpass near Route 31. Officers responding to the scene found Contreras suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
