Jesus Garcia Jr., a 28-year-old Hispanic male from Chicago, was fatally shot on December 18, 2014, in Montgomery, Illinois. The incident occurred near the intersection of Montgomery Road and Fourth Street around 6 p.m. Police responded to a report of shots fired and found Garcia lying in the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Montgomery police, assisted by various local and state law enforcement agencies, conducted an exhaustive search but were unable to locate a suspect.
