Fernando Carapia-Ruiz, a 32-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on January 15, 2021, in Aurora, Illinois. Fernando was in the backyard of his home when he was fatally shot multiple times. The incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Ivan Valles stopped in the 300 block of South Himan Street.
