Antwjuan Goldsmith, a 30-year-old man, was fatally shot on February 7, 2021, in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Officers found him lying face down with multiple gunshot wounds in the doorway of his home on the 7700 block of South Yates Boulevard. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, and the police were called to the scene following reports of gunfire. Goldsmith's death was ruled a homicide, and the investigation into his murder began immediately.
