Emmett Adams, a 26 year old Black male from Chicago, was shot on the night of September 12, 2019, in the Homan Square neighborhood on the West Side.
Police responding to a ShotSpotter alert found him unresponsive on a sidewalk in the 3700 block of West Flournoy Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital.
