Emmett Adams, a 26 year old Black male from Chicago, was shot on the night of September 12, 2019, in the Homan Square neighborhood on the West Side.
Police responding to a ShotSpotter alert found him unresponsive on a sidewalk in the 3700 block of West Flournoy Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital.
After nearly two weeks in the hospital, he was pronounced dead; the medical examiner ruled the death a homicide caused by complications ...Read More
