Geniko Childress, a 19-year-old African American male from Humboldt Park, Chicago, was tragically killed on August 10, 2019. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 1:55 a.m., in the 600 block of North Sawyer Avenue in Garfield Park. Geniko was standing with a group of people when shots were fired.
