Bobby King, a 31-year-old African American male from Peoria, Illinois, tragically lost his life on February 27, 2021. The incident occurred following a verbal altercation between King and Odis Jackson, a 28-year-old man. The confrontation escalated, resulting in Jackson shooting King in a parked car at the intersection of East Ravine Avenue and North Peoria Avenue. King was found with a gunshot wound around 5:15 p.m. on that fateful Saturday.
