Jeffrey T. Troglia, a 38-year-old white male, tragically passed away on March 5, 2021, in Chicago, IL. Troglia, who was a highly decorated officer with the Chicago Police Department, died by suicide. He shot himself inside his home in the Mount Greenwood neighborhood on the Far Southwest Side of Chicago. Troglia had served in the police force for about 15 years and was assigned to a gang team at the time of his death.
