Death by Force

Jawaun Davis, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on March 24, 2021, in Bridgeview, Illinois. The incident occurred outside the Illinois Secretary of State facility on West 87th Street. Davis was standing in line waiting to enter the facility when he was ambushed by two individuals who opened fire, striking him multiple times. Despite being rushed to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, he succumbed to his injuries later that day.
