On October 13, 2017, Jerzy Milewski, a 55-year-old man of Polish ethnicity from Oak Lawn, was tragically shot to death in the parking lot of Gerhard Design in Bridgeview, IL. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 5:30 a.m., when Bridgeview police officers responded to reports of gunshots in the 8500 block of Thomas Avenue.
