William Brooks, a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 7, 2021, in South Holland, Illinois. The incident occurred just before 5 p.m. in the 15200 block of Drexel Avenue. According to the Cook County medical examiner’s office, William Brooks was shot multiple times during an altercation that broke out at a gathering.
