Courtney Lynn Smith, a 37-year-old woman from Springfield, Illinois, tragically lost her life on April 23, 2021. She was found deceased at her home, and an autopsy later revealed that she had died from multiple gunshot wounds. The incident occurred in the 200 block of North Lincoln Street, where she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Sangamon County Coroner, Jim Allmon, confirmed her identity and the cause of death following the autopsy.
