Lesli Lundquist, a 47-year-old woman from Champaign, Illinois, was found dead on March 9, 2022, at the Sleep Inn located on the far west side of Springfield. The Sangamon County Coroner, Jim Allmon, confirmed that Lundquist died from a single gunshot wound.
