Dakawn Louis Scott, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 12, 2021, in Muncie, Indiana. The incident occurred near the intersection of Fifth and Hackley streets, where Scott was fatally shot. According to reports, he suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
